Meditation

The center belongs to an international network of 650 secular meditation groups of Diamond Way Buddhism of the Karma Kagyu lineage, one of the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Founded by Lama Ole Nydahl and under the spiritual care of His Holiness the XVII Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, the center in Poznań has been operating since 1981 as a place based on friendship and idealism, without unnecessary hierarchy. Here, meditation practice, drawing from the teachings of Buddha, and mutual development are pursued by friends who meet to exchange experiences and participate in authentic Buddhism. Since 2008, the center is located at Maszynowa 21 on Górczyna, serving as a dynamically developing place for practitioners.
