Centrum Kultury i Sztuki w Koninie - SREBRNE POKOLENIE

The Cen­ter for Cul­ture and Art in Konin is a cul­tur­al in­sti­tu­tion of the Wielkopol­s­ka local gov­ern­ment op­er­at­ing since 1988, lo­cat­ed in three build­ings: at Okól­na Street, CKiS-DK Os­kard, and the CKiS Water Tower Gallery. The Cen­ter or­ga­nizes sev­er­al dozen pres­ti­gious cul­tur­al events an­nu­al­ly, in­clud­ing the Jazz Fes­ti­val Jaz­zon­a­lia, the Na­tion­al In­de­pen­dent Film Com­pe­ti­tion named after Prof. Hen­ryk Kluba, the Wielkopol­s­ka Dance Fes­ti­val Tańczące Trzewicz­ki, and the Na­tion­al Pho­to­graph­ic Com­pe­ti­tion Poland Con­texts. It also of­fers screen­ings of Pol­ish and world cin­e­ma, which at­tract near­ly 100,000 view­ers an­nu­al­ly, en­joy­ing recog­ni­tion and af­fec­tion from the au­di­ence.
